HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 5

Amendment sponsored by Representative Brian Egolf

    1. On page 3, strike lines 24 and 25 and on page 4, strike lines 1 through 3 and insert in lieu thereof the following new subsection:

         "E. The compensation of the governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state, state treasurer, state auditor, commissioner of public lands, justices of the supreme court, judges of the court of appeals, district court judges, legislators, members of the public regulation commission and other public officers whose compensation may be established and limited by the public officer salary commission may be increased or diminished during the individual's term of office."".
