AN ACT

RELATING TO THE PUBLIC PEACE, HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO FILM DIVISION OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT TO SUPPORT NATIVE AMERICAN FILMMAKERS AND NATIVE AMERICAN FILM PROJECTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico film division of the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 to support Native American filmmakers and Native American film projects. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
