AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL SKILLS TRAINING.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the higher education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 to support a regional program to assist New Mexicans to fully develop and deploy entrepreneurial and technological skills required to succeed in the new economy, start new businesses and run and work in high-technology companies and to provide technological expertise to local businesses to ensure equity for rural and underserved populations and communities. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
