    Your RULES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 469

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 19, after "song", strike the remainder of the line, strike line 20 in its entirety and strike line 21 through the period.

    2. On page 3, between lines 7 and 8, insert the following:

         "SECTION 2. CONTINGENT EFFECTIVE DATE--NOTIFICATION.--The effective date of the provisions of this act is July 1, 2019 and upon the donation to the state of the ownership and copyright or a perpetual license for the use of the song. The cultural affairs department shall notify the New Mexico compilation commission and the director of the legislative council service immediately upon the department's knowledge that the ownership and copyright or a perpetual license for the use of the song has been obtained.".,

and thence referred to the PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE.
