AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF WATER DISTRIBUTION LINES IN THE VILLAGE OF TIMBERON IN OTERO COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of environment for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 to plan, design and construct approximately twenty-one thousand feet of water distribution lines, including valves, gauges, fittings and piping, in the village of Timberon in Otero county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
