AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR VARIOUS IMPROVEMENTS AT THE NEW MEXICO MUSEUM OF SPACE HISTORY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal years 2020 through 2022 to plan, design and construct improvements and repairs at the New Mexico museum of space history, including replacement of elevators, exhibit galleries, education outreach interactives, landscaping, a large artifact display building and an entrance sign. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2022 shall revert to the general fund.
