AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES DEPARTMENT TO FUND THE PROVISION OF RESOURCES AND MENTORING SERVICES FOR PREGNANT AND POSTPARTUM WOMEN AND FAMILIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 to give at-risk pregnant and postpartum women and families access to necessary resources, including mentoring. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
