AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO FUND RATE INCREASES FOR DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES MEDICAID WAIVER SERVICES PROVIDERS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five million dollars ($5,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 to fund rate increases for providers of direct-care services that serve recipients of medicaid waiver services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
