SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___5__ to SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL 328

Amendment sponsored by Senator Craig W. Brandt

    1. On page 14, strike Subsection I in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following:

         "I. The law enforcement agency or federal firearms licensee with custody of a surrendered or seized firearm shall make the firearm available to a formerly restrained party within three business days of receipt of a request from a formerly restrained party who is then currently eligible to own and possess a firearm.".
