MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES DEPARTMENT TO FUND THE PROVISION OF CERTAIN SERVICES TO CHILDREN AT CHILD ADVOCACY CENTERS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million dollars ($3,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 to fund the provision of sexual assault services to children at child advocacy centers. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
