Mr. Speaker:

    Your STATE GOVERNMENT, ELECTIONS & INDIAN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 228, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. Strike House Energy, Environment and Natural Resources Committee Amendment 3.

     2. On pages 5 and 6, strike Subsection C in its entirety and

insert in lieu thereof the following new subsection:

          "C. The department of game and fish and the department

of transportation shall consult with and actively seek the

involvement of tribal governments in the development of the wildlife

corridors action plan.".

     3. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.
