AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO FUND THE PROJECT ECHO PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two million dollars ($2,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 for the extension for community healthcare outcomes program, better known as "Project ECHO". Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
