    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL 55, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. Strike House Judiciary Committee Amendments 1 and 2.

    2. On page 2, strike line 25 up to the comma and insert in lieu thereof "Section 30-9-11 NMSA 1978".

    3. On page 3, line 3, strike "thirty-five years" and insert in lieu thereof "thirty years; provided that this subsection shall not apply to violent first degree felonies or to Paragraph (1) of Subsection G of Section 30-9-11 NMSA 1978.".
