Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
SENATE BILL 4
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 3, line 2, after "purposes;", strike the remainder of the line and strike line 3 in its entirety.
2. On page 4, lines 19 and 20, strike "or a check or money order" and insert in lieu thereof ", a check, a money order or an electronic form of payment, as prescribed by the secretary, and".
3. On page 10, line 7, strike "participating" and insert in lieu thereof "certified" and after "candidate", insert "; provided that a certified candidate may purchase joint advertisements or services with other certified candidates".
4. On page 17, line 23, after "of", strike the remainder of the line, strike line 24 through "ballot" and insert in lieu thereof "a candidate".
5. On page 20, line 14, strike "or rules of the secretary".
