AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE TOURISM DEPARTMENT FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE ELEPHANT BUTTE LAKE BALLOON REGATTA AND FIREWORKS SHOW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 for the promotion of the Elephant Butte Lake balloon regatta and fireworks show. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
