AN ACT

MAKING APPROPRIATIONS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO FUND A PUBLIC HEALTH INSTITUTE'S OPERATIONS AND ITS ADMINISTRATION OF HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICES INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT HUBS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATIONS.--

          A. Three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 to fund the operation of a nationally recognized public health institute to improve access to community health and community services data and support local and regional health planning processes. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.

          B. One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 to fund a nationally recognized public health institute's administration of comprehensive health and social services infrastructure development hubs. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
