Amendment sponsored by Representative Rod Montoya

    1. On page 1, line 11, strike "PUBLIC" and insert in lieu thereof "EXISTING OR NEWLY CONSTRUCTED SINGLE-OCCUPANCY".

    2. On page 1, line 11, after "RESTROOMS", insert "IN A PUBLIC ACCOMMODATION".

    3. On page 2, line 12, before "A", insert a new subsection designation "A.".

    4. On page 2, line 12, after "facility", insert "that exists or is constructed on or after July 1, 2019".

5. On page 2, line 14, strike the subsection designation "A."

and insert in lieu thereof the paragraph designation "(1)".

    6. On page 2, line 16, strike the subsection designation "B." and insert in lieu thereof the paragraph designation "(2)".

    7. On page 2, line 18, strike the subsection designation "C." and insert in lieu thereof the paragraph designation "(3)".

    8. On page 2, between lines 18 and 19, insert the following new subsection:

         "B. Nothing in this section shall be construed to require construction of a new, single-user toilet facility if one does not exist in a public accommodation.".
