AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE TOBACCO SETTLEMENT PROGRAM FUND TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO FUND EVIDENCE-BASED TOBACCO USE CESSATION AND PREVENTION PROGRAMMING STATEWIDE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million dollars ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the tobacco settlement program fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2019 to fund evidence-based tobacco use prevention and cessation programming statewide. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2019 shall revert to the general fund.
