AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES DEPARTMENT FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2019 to increase the capacity of and to provide training in programs that provide trauma-informed services to children exposed to domestic violence. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2019 shall revert to the general fund.
