SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to SENATE PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL 474

    1. On page 2, line 10, after "2018", insert "and through June 30, 2023". 

    2. On page 3, between lines 14 and 15, insert the following new sections:

    "SECTION 3. TEMPORARY PROVISION.--On July 1, 2023, the unexpended and unencumbered balance of the sexual assault examination kit fund is transferred to the general fund.

    SECTION 4. DELAYED REPEAL.--Section 2 of this act is repealed effective July 1, 2023.".
