    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 103,as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. Strike Senate Education Committee Amendment 1.

     2. On page 2, line 12, after "requirements", insert "that are accepted by all institutions for transfer purposes".

     3. On page 2, line 21, strike "established" and insert in lieu thereof "developed in consultation with the faculty and approved".

     4. On page 2, line 23, after "programs", insert "and can include courses across the institution that address diversity".

     5. On page 3, line 6, before "ARTICULATION", insert "INITIAL" and strike "PLAN--" and insert in lieu thereof "PLANNING AND".

     6. On page 3, line 6, after "DEVELOPMENT", strike the remainder of the line and strike line 7 through "ESTABLISHMENT".

     7. On page 4, line 23, after "shall", insert ", in consultation with the faculty,".

     8. On page 6, line 1, after "meta-majors", insert "and transfer modules by August 2019".

     9. On page 6, line 6, after "degree", insert "other than in applied science".

     10. On page 6, line 10, after "education", insert "and courses that include the interdisciplinary study of differences that recognize and respect New Mexico's diverse cultures, histories and identities".
