HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to HOUSE HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILLS 228 & 263, as amended

    1. On page 4, lines 5 through 8, strike Paragraph (6) in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following new paragraph:

             "(6) a statement that the patient's eligibility for hospice care may be withdrawn if the patient begins curative treatment with the investigational drug, biological product or device and that care may be reinstated if this treatment ends and the patient meets hospice eligibility requirements; and".

    2. On page 6, line 10, after the period, strike the remainder of the line and strike lines 11 through 15 in their entirety.
