    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 184

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 3, line 7, after the period, strike the remainder of the line, strike lines 8 through 10 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following:

     "If a board of county commissioners elects not to distribute the proceeds of a tax due to a school district in the county, any amount distributed by the secretary of finance and administration to a school district that is due to a charter school shall be distributed to the charter school by the school district."".

     2. On page 4, line 5, after "located", insert "and to each school district".

     3. On page 4, line 9, after the period, strike the remainder of the line, strike lines 10 through 12 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following:

     "If a board of county commissioners elects not to distribute the proceeds of a tax due to a school district in the county, any amount distributed by the secretary of finance and administration to a school district that is due to a charter school shall be distributed to the charter school by the school district."".

and thence referred to the TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE.
