HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1___ to SENATE FINANCE COMMITTEE                                   SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL                                  114, as amended

Amendment sponsored by Representative Lundstrom

    1. Strike House Appropriations and Finance Committee Amendment 5.

    2. On page 3, line 7, after "act", insert:

", and a school district or charter school whose distribution is accordingly reduced shall apply in the amount of that credit its audited fiscal year 2016 operational fund cash balance toward the school district's or charter school's fiscal year 2017 operations".

    3. On page 3, line 13, after "2017", insert:

"and whose audited fiscal year 2016 operational fund cash balance is greater than four percent of its fiscal year 2016 program cost".

    4. On page 3, line 14, after "following", insert:

"calculation or, if, using that result, the applied credit would leave the school district's or charter school's audited fiscal year 2016 operational fund cash balance below four percent of its fiscal year 2016 program cost, then equal to the portion of that result that will leave the school district's or charter school's audited fiscal year 2016 operational fund cash balance at four percent of its fiscal year 2016 program cost".

    5. On page 3, line 25, after "2017", insert:

"and whose audited fiscal year 2016 operational fund cash balance is greater than four percent of its fiscal year 2016 program cost".
