has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS,amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, line 16, under the Other State Funds column, strike "64,000.5" and insert in lieu thereof "73,996.0".

     2. On page 2, line 17, under the Other State Funds column, strike "74,619.2" and insert in lieu thereof "73,885.7".

     3. On page 2, line 19, strike "Section 6-21-6.8" and insert in lieu thereof “Chapter 6, Article 21".

     4. On page 2, between lines 22 and 23, insert:

     "The other state funds appropriations to the project design and construction program of the department of transportation include ten million dollars ($10,000,000) for maintenance, reconstruction and related construction costs of state-managed highways.".

     5. On page 2, line 24, under the Total/Target column, strike "70" and insert in lieu thereof "67".

     6. On page 2, strike line 25 in its entirety.

     7. On page 3, line 1, under the Total/Target column, strike "87" and insert in lieu thereof "88".

     8. On page 3, line 12, under the Other State Funds column, strike "45,772.6" and insert in lieu thereof "49,772.6".

     10. On page 3, line 16, under the Total/Target column, strike "2,600" and insert in lieu thereof "2,550".

     11. On page 3, line 18, under the Total/Target column, strike "8,000" and insert in lieu thereof "8,650".

     12. On page 3, between lines 18 and 19, insert the following outcome:

     "* Outcome:    Percent of bridges in fair condition or better, based on deck area >90%".

     13. On page 4, line 13, under the Other State Funds column, strike "4,759.3" and insert in lieu thereof "3,336.0" and under the Intrnl Svc Funds/Inter-Agency Trnsf column, strike "835.8" and insert in lieu thereof "471.0".

     14. On page 4, line 14, under the Other State Funds column, strike "17,323.9" and insert in lieu thereof "18,883.0" and under the Federal Funds column, strike "6,046.8" and insert in lieu thereof "9,046.8".

     15. On page 4, line 15, under the Other State Funds column, strike "7,790.1" and insert in lieu thereof "8,319.3"; under the Intrnl Svc Funds/Inter-Agency Trnsf column, strike "2,264.2" and insert in lieu thereof "300.0"; and under the Federal Funds column, strike "25,072.8" and insert in lieu thereof "22,072.8".

     16. On page 4, line 16, strike "53.0" and insert in lieu thereof "57.0".

     17. On page 4, between lines 16 and 17, insert:

     "The internal service funds/interagency transfers appropriations to the modal program of the department of transportation include one million one hundred seventy-one thousand dollars ($1,171,000) from the weight distance tax identification permit fund to hire temporary workers, purchase equipment for commercial truck permitting and maintain and fund capital improvements for port-of-entry facilities.".

     18. On page 4, line 19, under the Total/Target column, strike "300,000" and insert in lieu thereof "275,000".

     19. On page 4, line 20, under the Total/Target column, strike "330" and insert in lieu thereof "340".

     20. On page 4, line 21, under the Total/Target column, strike "130" and insert in lieu thereof "135".

     21. Adjust all totals to correspond to these amendments.,
