HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number __1___ to SENATE BILL 6, as amended

    1. Strike House Ways and Means Committee Amendment 8.

    2. On page 54, between lines 14 and 15, insert the following section:

    "SECTION 7. APPROPRIATION.--One million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2017 and subsequent fiscal years to support home visiting services for the prevention of child abuse. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.".
