AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EXPAND ACCESS TO BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, PRIMARY CARE AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH SERVICES THROUGH SCHOOL-BASED HEALTH CENTERS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred fifty thousand dollars ($550,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2017 for its office of school and adolescent health to expand access to behavioral health, primary care and reproductive health services through twenty-six school-based health centers during the 2016-2017 school year. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2017 shall revert to the general fund.
