AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION FOR AN INTEGRATED SERVICES INITIATIVE FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2017 for an integrated services initiative that includes extended learning opportunities, high-quality school-based health care, family engagement in learning and family supports and resources for children and families in a municipality with a population greater than six hundred thousand according to the most recent federal decennial census located in a class A county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2017 shall revert to the general fund.
