AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SUPERCOMPUTER CHALLENGE AT THE NEW MEXICO INSTITUTE OF MINING AND TECHNOLOGY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the New Mexico institute of mining and technology for expenditure in fiscal year 2017 to support the supercomputer challenge program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2017 shall revert to the general fund.
