    Your BUSINESS AND EMPLOYMENT COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 200

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 11, before "ROADS", insert "HIGHWAYS,".

     2. On page 4, lines 3 through 5, strike Subsection B in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof:

          "B. The provisions of the Public Works Minimum Wage Act shall not apply to contracts and projects for:

                (1) public roads;

                (2) public highways as defined in Section 67-2-1 NMSA 1978; and

                (3) facilities of school districts, state-chartered charter schools, post-secondary educational institutions and state educational institutions identified in Article 12, Section 11 of the constitution of New Mexico.".
