A MEMORIAL
RECOGNIZING JEREMY JOHN ROMERO AND COMMENDING HIS DEDICATION AND DEVOTION TO HIS FATHER.
WHEREAS, Jeremy John Romero is ten years old, lives in Albuquerque and shows his love for his father through his actions; and
WHEREAS, Jeremy's father is a deputy sheriff who was injured in a car accident and is undergoing extensive rehabilitation to regain the ability to walk; and
WHEREAS, Jeremy attends therapy sessions with his dad and is constantly encouraging and helping his dad to tough it out so his dad will learn to walk again; and
WHEREAS, this young man demonstrates his love for his dad through continued devotion; and
WHEREAS, Jeremy is a true example of a caregiver at his young age; and
WHEREAS, Jeremy is providing encouragement and support, the most important medicine, to help his father heal; and
WHEREAS, Jeremy sets a very valuable example for New Mexico young people;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that Jeremy John Romero be recognized and commended for his dedication and devotion to his father's rehabilitation; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this memorial be transmitted to Jeremy John Romero.
