AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE PLANNING, DESIGN AND STUDIES REQUIRED TO RENOVATE THE MORPHY LAKE, SPRINGER LAKE, BRADNER, JAMES WALLACE PARK, CIMARRONCITO, LAKE ALICE AND LAKE MALOYA DAMS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Nineteen million dollars ($19,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of the state engineer for expenditure in fiscal year 2016 for planning, design and flood hazard studies required to renovate the Morphy lake, Springer lake, Bradner, James Wallace Park, Cimarroncito, Lake Alice and Lake Maloya dams. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2016 shall revert to the general fund.
