AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE INTERSTATE STREAM COMMISSION TO UPDATE THE STATE AND REGIONAL WATER PLANS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seven hundred thousand dollars ($700,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the interstate stream commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2016 to update the state and regional water plans. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2016 shall revert to the general fund.
