    Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 323

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 15, after "COMMITTEE", insert "; PROVIDING FOR THE POSTING OF INFORMATION FOR PUBLIC ACCESS".

    2. On page 9, between lines 15 and 16, insert the following new section:

    "SECTION 5. A new section of the Health Information System Act is enacted to read:

    "[NEW MATERIAL] WEB SITE--PUBLIC ACCESS.--By January 1, 2018, the department shall ensure that the public is provided with access, free of charge, to a user-friendly, searchable and easily accessible web site on which the department shall post and update on a regular basis information in accordance with the Health Information System Act. The department shall adopt and promulgate rules to carry out the provisions of this section."".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
