Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
SENATE BILL 132, as amended
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. Strike Senate Corporations and Transportation Committee Amendment 1.
2. On page 3, lines 10 and 11, remove the brackets and line-through and strike "one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000)".
3. On page 3, line 12, before the period, insert the following:
"unless it did not use a professional fundraiser. A charitable organization that did not use a professional fundraiser during the relevant fiscal year and that received total revenue of eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) or more but less than one million two hundred thousand dollars ($1,200,000) shall be reviewed or audited by an independent certified public accountant. A charitable organization that did not use a professional fundraiser during the relevant fiscal year and received total revenue of one million two hundred thousand dollars ($1,200,000) or more shall be audited by an independent certified public accountant".
