AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO SUPPORT THE FORECLOSURE PROCESS TASK FORCE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2016 by the New Mexico mortgage finance authority to support holding foreclosure process task force meetings around the state to collect input from geographically diverse homeowners and mortgage lenders. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2016 shall revert to the general fund.
