AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A PROFESSIONAL GOLF TOURNAMENT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal year 2016 for hosting a tournament of a professional golfers' association, contingent on the receipt of at least one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) given for that purpose and received from sources other than the state. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2016 shall revert to the general fund.
