AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EXPAND TOURISM MARKETING AND PROMOTION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million five hundred thousand dollars ($3,500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal year 2016 to expand marketing and promotion of New Mexico as a tourist destination. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2016 shall revert to the general fund.
