AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, MATHEMATICS, ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND DIVERSITY OUTREACH AND RETENTION AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($475,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2016 and subsequent fiscal years to support a science, technology, engineering, mathematics, entrepreneurship and diversity outreach and retention program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
