AN ACT
RELATING TO THE PUBLIC PEACE, HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE INDIAN AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT TO DEVELOP AND OPERATE RAIL TRANSPORTATION SERVICES IN THE FOUR CORNERS REGION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million dollars ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 to develop and operate rail transportation services in the four corners region. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
