AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE HORSE SHELTER RESCUE FUND FOR THE CARE AND HUMANE DISPOSITION OF EQUINES IN NEW MEXICO'S FOUR CORNERS REGION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the horse shelter rescue fund for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 and subsequent fiscal years to support the feeding and humane care of equines in the four corners region of New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
