AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND REVITALIZATION OF THE WEST CENTRAL CORRIDOR IN ALBUQUERQUE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 to promote economic development and revitalization of the West Central corridor in Albuquerque by contracting with a community organization for services to facilitate communication and collaboration with neighborhood and merchant associations in Albuquerque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
