AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR ARTS EDUCATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirteen thousand four hundred dollars ($13,400) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 for an arts education program for middle and high school students who attend public schools in Bernalillo, Sandoval and Valencia counties that integrates literacy and theater. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
