AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A YOUTH DANCE PROGRAM FOR LOW-INCOME, AT-RISK CHILDREN.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred forty thousand dollars ($140,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 to provide low-income, at-risk children access to a best-practice, character-building youth dance program in partnership with local school districts statewide. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
