AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE EQUALIZATION GUARANTEE FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fourteen million dollars ($14,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state equalization guarantee of the public school fund for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 to fund physical education in public schools pursuant to the Public School Finance Act and the Public School Code. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
