    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 122

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 13, before the period, insert "; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY".

    2. On page 4, line 11, strike ", as", strike lines 12 through 14 in their entirety and strike line 15 up to the semicolon.

    3. On page 6, strike lines 13 through 15 and insert in lieu thereof "a physical education program that meets state content and performance standards or participation in marching band, junior reserve officers' training corps or other co-curricular physical activity;".

    4. On page 10, between lines 5 and 6, insert:

    "SECTION 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.".,

and thence referred to the PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE.
