    Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 255, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 15, strike "AND" and insert in lieu thereof "OR".

     2. On page 1, line 16, strike "COUNTIES" and insert in lieu thereof "COUNTY".

     3. On page 1, line 18, strike "; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION".

     4. On page 3, lines 11 through 20, strike Subsection A in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof:

          "A. The department shall create the "keeping families together pilot project" to provide permanent housing and supportive services for families that lack adequate housing or struggle with substance abuse or mental health issues and have children who have been identified as victims of child abuse or neglect. The pilot project shall run from January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2018.".

     5. On page 3, line 25, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof "or".

     6. On page 4, line 1, strike "counties" and insert in lieu there of "county".

     7. On page 8, strike line 25 and on page 9, strike lines 1 through 7.

     8. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.
