AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PLANNING, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A VETERANS MEMORIAL AT THE SOUTH VALLEY MULTIPURPOSE SENIOR CENTER IN THE TOWN OF ATRISCO LAND GRANT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 to allow the town of Atrisco land grant to contract for the planning, design and construction of a veterans memorial on the grounds of the South Valley multipurpose senior center in the town of Atrisco land grant to commemorate military veterans from the town of Atrisco land grant and Ranchos de Atrisco. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
