AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE VETERANS' SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO DESIGN, CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN A VETERAN CEMETERY IN THE CITY OF GALLUP.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the veterans' services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 and subsequent fiscal years to design, construct and maintain a veteran cemetery in the city of Gallup, contingent upon the department receiving a grant of one million dollars ($1,000,000) from the United States department of veterans affairs and a grant of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) from the city of Gallup. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
