AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO FUND COMMUNITY HEALTH NEEDS ASSESSMENTS BY COUNTY AND TRIBAL HEALTH COUNCILS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Nine hundred thousand dollars ($900,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 to fund community health needs assessments performed by county and tribal health councils. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
